Next Generation SMART PUMP™

Remotely Command, Monitor, & Respond

The Next Generation SMART PUMP™ adds remote command, real-time telemetry, live video, satellite connectivity, and automatic water management to the proven SMART PUMP™ wildfire water-delivery platform.

Designed to give incident personnel greater awareness and control without requiring someone to continuously remain at the pump.

Connected Fireground Operations

See the Pump. Know Its Status. Control Key Functions.

Through integrated Starlink connectivity, authorized personnel can access SMART PUMP™ information from a phone, tablet, or computer.

REMOTE COMMAND
Start and stop the SMART PUMP™ remotely and monitor its operating mode and system status.

REAL-TIME TELEMETRY
Monitor water pressure, water level, fuel level, battery voltage, engine status, faults, anti-siphon valve position, and other critical system information.

LIVE VIDEO
Four permanently mounted cameras provide live views around the SMART PUMP™, with an optional fifth deployable camera extending visibility up to 150 feet from the unit.

REMOTE FAULT MANAGEMENT
Identify system faults and reset supported faults remotely when appropriate.

The goal isn't more technology on the fireline.

It's better information with less unnecessary personnel exposure.

Connected Where Operations Take You

Eyes on the SMART PUMP™ — From Miles Away

Every new Next Generation SMART PUMP™ includes Starlink satellite connectivity, providing the communications link for remote monitoring, live video, and remote-control capabilities in locations where conventional connectivity may be limited.

Starlink is specifically designed to provide high-speed, low-latency internet in remote locations, although service still depends on coverage, conditions, and an adequate view of the sky.

STARLINK — STANDARD EQUIPMENT

Starlink comes standard on every new Next Generation SMART PUMP™.

Once the system is powered and connected, authorized personnel can access remote SMART PUMP™ functions without needing conventional cellular service at the pump location.

FOUR PERMANENT LIVE CAMERAS

Four onboard cameras provide live views around the SMART PUMP™, allowing personnel to visually monitor the equipment, water operations, and surrounding area remotely.

OPTIONAL 5TH DEPLOYABLE CAMERA

A fifth camera can be deployed up to 150 feet from the SMART PUMP™, giving Operations the ability to place another live view where it provides the most value.

That could be:

Water source • Hose lay • Access point • Helicopter operations • Equipment area • Other operational location

Connectivity provides the link. Cameras provide the eyes.

Remote controls provide the capability to act.

Designed for Unattended Operations

Keep Water Moving. Reduce the Need to Staff the Pump

The Next Generation SMART PUMP™ combines automatic water management with remote monitoring and built-in operating safeguards—allowing the system to support sustained operations with less continuous personnel presence at the pump.

HELI-WELL™ AUTOMATIC FILL

When configured in HELI-WELL™ mode, SMART PUMP™ monitors tank level and automatically operates the pump to maintain the water supply.

As water is removed, the system can refill the tank and shut down when the fill cycle is complete—reducing the need for an operator to continuously manage tank filling.

REMOTE-START WARNING

Before the engine starts through remote control, an audible warning horn activates at the SMART PUMP™, alerting personnel in the immediate area that the equipment is about to start.

LOCAL CONTROL REMAINS AVAILABLE

Remote capability doesn't eliminate conventional operation. SMART PUMP™ retains local controls at the unit, allowing personnel to operate and manage the system directly when required.

Automation handles repetitive water management.

Remote technology provides awareness and control.

Firefighters remain in command.
